WALLS/ABOVE HUMAN POLLUTION

DESCRIPTION:

Interactive art installation commissioned by Media Boulevard Association and Assessorato alla Moda at Frittelli Arte contemporanea  since 9th to 19th April 2008.

CONCEPT:
Point up the emotional ways that people have when they are in panic. It’s divided in two steps:

1) WALLS: like virtual walls, entering in the installation will be a red short movie processed with Jitter. By using motion capture, as many people comes in the WALLS area, the video will have more definition ( from digital barcodes to the sequence), trying to emphatize chromatically (red color)  and with the people (many bodies inside a small area) the claustrophobia sensation.

2) ABOVE: it’s the way to escape and leave out all the vibes from the WALLS area: screaming! It’s a projecton (realized summing 124 shots of a sky filtered by a scratched glass) that reacts from dyanmic sounds inside the installation, scaling the color filter of the short from purple red to bluesky (the natural color of the pictures).
